Fantan Fishing is a China-based fishing rod OEM manufacturer and rod component maker. We produce complete fishing rods for brands that sell under their own name, supply fishing rod blanks in bulk, and manufacture carbon fiber guides, titanium guides and a range of carbon fiber reel seats in-house. We also source and integrate brand-specified components when a program calls for them. This page explains who we are, who we work with, how we run a project and, just as importantly, what we do not do.
What we make

Who we serve
We work with businesses: fishing tackle brands, importers, wholesalers, distributors and larger retailers that need a manufacturing partner for their own product lines, as well as rod-building businesses that buy blanks and guide systems in quantity. The United States is our primary market. The United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Australia are our secondary markets, and this site is written for English-speaking B2B buyers in all of these regions.
How we work
Every project follows a written specification and an approved sample. We review your requirement, confirm the specification, select components, develop and approve a sample, confirm pre-production, then produce, inspect, pack and ship. The steps are described in the OEM Production Process, the sample method in Sample Development, and the inspection scope on Quality & Inspection. We state which parts are self-made and which are sourced, and we record changes so that bulk production can always be traced back to what was approved.
What we do not do
- No retail. We do not sell to anglers, and we do not compete with our customers’ brands in their markets.
- No single-piece sales. Rods, blanks, guides and reel seats are supplied against minimum order quantities confirmed at quotation. Individual builders are welcome to inquire, but orders must meet the applicable minimum.
- No claims we cannot support. We do not describe our guides as licensed by or compatible with other brands, we do not present sourced components as our own, and we do not publish weight, sensitivity, strength or corrosion claims without test evidence. Where a fact depends on your project, we say so and confirm it at quotation.
- No unverified capability statements. Factory information is shared with buyers on request as process descriptions, photos and records, as explained under Manufacturing Capabilities.
