Fantan Fishing uses three working documents with buyers: an RFQ template for complete fishing rods, an RFQ and sample approval form for guide systems, and the fishing rod guide catalogue covering our in-house carbon fiber and titanium frames. They are supplied on request through the inquiry form rather than as open downloads, so that each buyer receives the current revision and we can follow up on the requirement it is used for. This page describes what each document contains and who it is for.

For: brands, distributors, wholesalers and sellers requesting a quotation for complete rods under fishing rod OEM or private label.

Contents: a structured form that follows the fishing rod specification guide:

• Project data: company, program model (OEM, private label, custom development), target market and quantity per model.
• Rod definition: rod type, length, sections and joint type, transport length, power and the scale used, action, line and lure rating or test curve.
• Blank: material class and layup, finish, tip and butt diameter if known, or a reference rod description.
• Guide system: frame family and series, ring material (ZrO2 or Si3N4), guide count, tip-top size, colour.
• Reel seat and handle: seat type and material or specified brand, grip layout, lengths and materials.
• Branding and packaging: logo files and placement, model name and rating text, bag or tube, label, hang tag, retail box, carton quantity.
• Quality requirements: required tests, sampling level, inspection records, third-party inspection.
• Attachments: drawings, artwork, photographs of reference rods.

A completed template lets us return a question list and quotation faster than a free-text enquiry.

For: rod builders, manufacturers and brands buying carbon fiber guides or titanium guides as component sets, and buyers in complete-rod programs who want to approve the guide train as a separate step.

Contents:

• Rod inputs: rod type, blank length and sections, blank tip diameter, line type and rating or casting weight, action.
• Guide-set definition: frame family (carbon or titanium), series (YT, KW, KR, T, TRA), ring material, colour, guide count, and size per position using the catalogue dimensions.
• Tip-top: tube size matched to the measured blank tip, and ring size.
• Quantities: sets required, packing per set or per size, sample set request.
• Sample approval section: drawing revision, sample received, position-by-position check, requested changes, approval signature and date.

The approval section is what turns a sample into the bulk reference described on quality and inspection. The selection logic behind the form is explained on guide-system selection.

For: buyers specifying a guide system, whether for component purchase or as part of a complete rod.

Contents:

• Carbon fiber guides: YT, KW and KR frame series and carbon tip-tops.
• Titanium guides: T and TRA frame series and titanium tip-tops.
• Dimensions per size: H, L and L1, and tip-top tube and ring sizes.
• Ring options: ZrO2 and Si3N4.
• Colour options and, where included in the current revision, guide-set examples by rod type.

The catalogue is the dimensional reference used on guide-set drawings and at incoming inspection. It does not contain weight, sensitivity or strength comparisons, and any material statement for titanium frames is supported by material certificates or test reports supplied per project. 2. Name the document or documents you need and give a short description of the project, so that we can send the current revision and any notes relevant to your rod type and market.
3. Return the completed template or form through the same channel; we review it and respond with questions or a quotation.
