YT Carbon Guide overview
The YT series is the running-guide family of our carbon fiber guide system. The frame is produced from high-modulus carbon fiber and finished with a matte, scratch-resistant surface; the ceramic ring is a high-strength zirconia F-ring with a large bonding surface. H is the frame height, L1 the foot length and L the overall footprint on the blank.
Sizes YT 4.0 to YT 10 are the small running guides; the L, M and H suffixes (5.5 L to 30 H) are taller frames used closer to the reel on spinning rods. Typical catalogue set examples: an 8+1 spinning train of 20H, 10H, 6M, 5.5L and four 4.5 running guides with a TOP 4.5-1.8 tip, or a 9+1 casting train that mixes KW 8/7/6 stripper guides with YT 5.5, YT 5 and four YT 4.5 running guides and a TOP 4.5-2.0 tip. Ring colours: bright black, bright gold, bright silver and pink. Ring materials: zirconia (ZrO2) and silicon nitride (Si3N4).
